Assigment 4 : Third week

Last week we had difficulties making the headset recognize the hands so we focused on doing other things so we don't lag behind. This week we finally managed to tick all the settings in all the spots and managed to see the hands, but without any functionality yet.

Regarding so-called puzzles, we settled on a few and a progression we expect the player to go through to navigate all of them. They are still work-in-progress but the idea shouldn't be too hard to implement. We are trying to create them with gestures in mind but next week being the last, we might need to rethink that a bit. Therefore, we already thought of a solution, using gestures to guide the player with arrows pointing towards the direction the player should take. So, in theory, after finishing a puzzle and moving a bit, some text requesting a gesture from the player should appear near him:

How the game ends is still not set yet, but will probably involve killing the monster chasing the player, somehow. We were thinking of loading a weapon by trying to imitate the real life hand movements necessary but that might take too much time.

Next week we will finalize as much as we can of the initial idea while trying to make it follow a logical path of objectives. Currenly the main problem we have is that we have small activities that are not fully implemented yet, that we are trying to combine with one another. This week there was a lot of tutorial watching and debugging.
